Training Assignment Request Process
Following is the general process for training owners and organizational leadership to establish training assignments in the UC Learning Center.

1 | Confirm Authority To Assign & Submit Request | Requestor confirms they have the authority or approval to require the training of the assignees and submits an assignment request. |
2 | Define & Approve Audience | UCLC Admin will work with Requestor to define the assignee audience by available user data from UCPath. See job aid for Requestors. |
3 | Set Assignment Details | Requestor provides:

4 | Approve Notifications | UCLC Admin will work with the Training Owner to determine assignment notification needs. |
5 | Establish Assignment | UCLC Admin creates and launches the assignment in the UCLC. |
Optional | Schedule Reports | If requested, UCLC Admin will create and schedule any needed reports post-launch. |
Changes & Ongoing Maintenance
Requestors are responsible for notifying UCLC Administrators, via a Change Request, if they need to cancel or modify an assignment or audience rules. For example, changes to department codes, job codes, managers, etc. or anything an assignment rule is based on.
